Cleethorpes parents will be offered advice and safety checks on car seats and push chairs this month as part of Child Safety Week.
Trading standards officers from North East Lincolnshire Council will be visiting children’s centres between Monday, June 18 and Friday 22, as part of the annual safety campaign.
They will be offering free pushchair checks and general advice on child safety issues at the following children’s centres during the week: Monday morning at Queensway Children’s Centre, Binbrook Way, Grimsby; Tues morning at Cleethorpes Children’s Centre, Machray Place, Cleethorpes; Wednesday morning at Nunsthorpe & Bradley Children’s Centre, Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby; and Thursday morning at Scartho Children’s Centre in Mendip Avenue.
Experts will also be available on Friday 22 to test car seats. They will be at Broadway Children’s Centre in the morning and Queensway Children’s Centre in the afternoon.
All of the advice sessions are free to attend – simply turn up on the day.
